A generic project tool

  • The project tool knows the work; finance knows the rates.
  • Nobody knows if a project made money until the month closes.
  • It all gets exported into a spreadsheet to find out.
  • A separate per-user app just to tell a fixed project from an hourly one.

Airtask

  • Pick fixed, hourly, mixed or non-billable per project.
  • Set company rates once; new projects inherit them.
  • Give one person a different rate when the work calls for it.
  • Cost is worked out from approved hours, per project and per sprint.

Defaults once

Set the rates and model once.

Set the company billing model, rates and currency once. Every new project inherits them, so finance and delivery start from the same numbers.

Per project

Pick how each project gets charged.

Create a project and pick fixed, hourly, mixed or non-billable, or keep the defaults. A live preview shows how it bills, for example $5,000 plus $50 an hour.

Per person

Give one person a different rate.

When a senior rate or a client rate applies, set a member rate that overrides the project rate. The work still bills correctly.

From the hours

Approved hours become cost.

Approved hours turn into billable hours and cost, per project and per sprint. On Plus, the Project Summary and Costing report covers cost across every active project.
