Before you start
Four values from greytHR, and one rule about employee IDs.
- API ID
- API Base URL
- API Private Key, in PEM format
- Unique Identification Key
- Every synced user must have an Employee ID. A user without an Employee ID will not sync.
- greytHR states that only Growth and Enterprise plan users can access its API features.
Setup
Four values, one settings screen.
Generate the API key in your greytHR Admin account, then complete the sync setup in Airtask Settings.
Open API details in greytHR
Log in to the greytHR Admin portal. Go to Settings, then My Account, then API Details.
Create an Attendance Swipe API key
In the API Keys section, click the plus icon. Select Attendance Swipe API Key and click Generate API Keys.
Copy the API ID
The pop-up shows your Domain URL, an editable API Name, and the API ID. The API ID is shown only once, so copy it and store it securely.
Download the private key
Click Download Private Key, open the PEM file, and copy the full contents as plain text. Then click Done.
Open the integration in Airtask
Go to Settings, then Integrations, and open greytHR Push Punch Logs.
Enter the API details and paste the key
Fill in the API ID, API Base URL, and Unique Identification Key. Paste the full private key contents as text, without trimming it.
Enable Auto-Run and save
Enable Auto-Run and save the configuration.

Airtask brings greytHR integration setup into one Settings Center panel. Enable Auto-Run and save once. After that, it pushes the previous day's attendance automatically at 11:00 AM IST, no further action needed.
