The next sprint is a toggle, not a chore.

A generic project tool

  • Someone builds next sprint's board every two weeks.
  • They drag the leftovers across and remember to close the old one.
  • Miss it and the board quietly drifts out of date.
  • Auto-creation is a metered rule or a paid add-on.

Airtask

  • Turn on sprints and set the length in weeks.
  • The next sprint shows up named and dated, from your schedule.
  • Unfinished work moves to the next sprint by itself.
  • List, Kanban and Calendar views over the same work.

Turn it on

Set the sprint length, once.

Turn on sprints and set the length in weeks. Switch on auto-creation and Airtask builds the upcoming sprints, named and dated, from your schedule.

Plan your way

List, Kanban or Calendar.

Plan in List View grouped by sprint, drag cards on the Kanban board, or schedule on the Calendar with unscheduled work kept in view. Each sprint holds ToDo, In progress, Blocked and Completed.

Roll over

Leftovers move to the next sprint by itself.

When a sprint ends, unfinished tasks move to the next one, so the board stays current without the two-week drag-and-close ritual.

The spillover

See exactly what spilled over.

The Sprint Summary report shows what completed, what spilled over and velocity over time. On Plus.

Proof

“Our sprint velocity data now sits next to actual time-on-task data from the productivity module. We finally know if our sprint planning reflects reality or just optimism.”

FAQs

Questions, answered.

Straight answers on Scrum, Kanban, roll-over and dependencies.

Do you support Scrum and Kanban?

Yes. Sprints, a Kanban Board View, a List View and a Calendar View, all over the same work.

What happens to unfinished work when a sprint ends?

It moves to the next sprint automatically, and the Sprint Summary shows the spillover.

Can sprints be created for us?

Yes. Turn on auto-creation and Airtask builds the upcoming sprints from your schedule and sprint length.

Can we see velocity and spillover?

Yes, in the Sprint Summary Report, which comes with Plus.

How do we plan dates across a sprint?

Use the Calendar View to schedule work across the sprint's weeks, with unscheduled tasks kept in view, and the List View grouped by sprint to see it all in order.

Can one task block another?

Yes. A task stays blocked until the task it depends on is done. There is no Gantt chart and dates do not move on their own, so plan the schedule with sprints and the Calendar view.

Which plans include sprints?

All of them, starting at $25 a month.
