A better way to work
Without Airtask Tasks
- Work that matters to a goal gets buried under a pile of tickets.
- One assignee field, even when two teams share the work.
- Who is reviewing this lives in a chat thread nobody can find later.
- Auto-assign means building a rule, metered by the month.
With Airtask Tasks
- Every task rolls up to an epic and a project, with child issues underneath.
- Several assignees on one task, across teams.
- A real Reviewer and QA Tester field on every task.
- Auto-assign by role: mark the role, flip one switch. No rule to build, no monthly cap.
Structure
Every task rolls up to a project.
Create a project for the objective, a client, an initiative or a department. Break it into Epics, Tasks and Bugs, with Child Issues underneath. Every task rolls up to an epic and a project.
Ownership
Several assignees, and a real reviewer.
Work shared across two teams sits on one task. Add several assignees, a Reviewer and a QA Tester, so everyone who touches the task is on it, not buried in a thread.
Auto-assign
Mark a role, flip one switch.
Give a role the Auto-assignee or Auto-reviewer label and switch auto-assign on. Every new task then lands on everyone holding that role, reviewers included. Switch it off and nothing is assigned automatically.
Stay ahead
See what is overdue, and what is blocked.
Work from My Tasks while managers watch All Tasks and the Dashboard, where overdue and due-today work is flagged. A task stays blocked until the task it depends on is done.
Proof
“When a recruiter logs time on a client project, I can cross-check it with their actual activity data from the same platform. That validation layer is something no dedicated PM tool offered us.”

FAQs
Questions, answered.
Straight answers on assignees, reviewers and auto-assign.
Can a task have more than one assignee?
Yes. Put several people on one task, and add a reviewer and a QA tester.
Do you have epics?
Yes. Epic is a task type for a large body of work, with tasks and child issues underneath.
How do we track goals?
Each project is the objective, epics are the big outcomes, and every task rolls up to them. There is no separate OKR object.
Can guests see a project?
Yes, with view-only access.
Can Airtask assign work for us?
Yes. Give a role the Auto-assignee label and turn on auto-assign. Every new task goes to everyone holding that role, with the Auto-reviewer role added as reviewers.
Is auto-assign round-robin or by workload?
No. It is role-based. Everyone holding the role is added to each new task. Turn it off and nothing is assigned automatically.
Can one task block another?
Yes. A task stays blocked until the task it depends on is done. Dates do not shift on their own; plan the schedule with sprints and the Calendar view.
Do you have templates?
Not today.
